If you didn’t know already, 2007 is MENC’s centennial year. One of the celebration campaigns is having a Centennial Canon performed and recorded by MENC members and/or their students and then submitted to MENC. What would the Canon sound like performed by a student group similar to PLork, Ethel, So Percussion or maybe even an artsechro? I would love to hear a version performed by a school ensemble and then re-mixed by another student! Let’s get some creative renditions of the Centennial Canon submitted to celebrate 100 years of MENC and music in the 21st century!
