Make Hip Hop Facilitation Resources

General Info
- Remember that people will be moving in and out of workshops. The workshops should be as hands-on as possible.
- The entire event should be family friendly (evening has a more adult vibe but there still may be younger people around)
- The volume level of workshops will need to be softer than the final performance since there are performances taking place nearby
We will have the following equipment:
- 2 PA speakers- 2 (12 inch QSC tops) with 2 18in (QSC subs)
- 1 mixer with at least 8 inputs: (Channel list below)
- L ¼ in input (DJ turntable Mixer 1)
- R ¼ in input (DJ turntable Mixer 1)
- L ¼ in input (DJ turntable Mixer 2)
- R ¼ in input (DJ turntable Mixer 2)
- ¼ in cable to ⅛ (rotating iPad/laptop for share outs)
- 2 Turntables and Rane Mixer — This is for the public to use
- The public will use vinyl instead of Serato to keep things easier and avoid issues of computer glitches
- 1 mixer with at least 8 inputs: (Channel list below)
*** IMPORTANT: Reflekeshin will need to bring his own set up for demo, workshops, and performance
- 4 6ft rectangular Tables [ 2 tables on the grass stage — 1 table on left side for beatmaking — 1 table on right side for MC’ing]
- One 4ft round Table – for Merchandise (CDs, tshirts etc.) by trees on concrete
- 3 Mics & Mic stands Stands
- 1 large post-it- note white board
- We will have to share the post-it flip board with each of you but you can stick the large post its on the red wall behind the stage
As we discussed a while back, we will be videotaping portions of your workshop to share on our website for educational purposes
